The common misconception is that European, US and Australian white men are the backbone of the Asian sex trade when in reality it is the Japanese, Koreans and Arabs who spend the most on women and especially on alcohol for them. The Japanese and Koreans do not marry them or take them home. For the marriage, meat market the white men are the prime source of aspiration for these girls and a great many achieve their ambitions to get a better life. It is certainly better than a perpetual life in prostitution or working in a sweat shop.
